  1. We have all forgotten that Smith alluded to earlier retirement? My feeling is that he does not want to face GSP and bow can be done at no fighting. Do not think I would risk the championship and we will continue to be among the combatants Calibur.

As much as I like to see them both in the octagon, I've never seen happen. If so, I think GSP is on top of his game, he would benefit from P & G in the 2 Round.

  2. GSP vs Silva would be a great fight. But it would be like the end to fight GSP / Penn 2nd GSP would not have dominated BJ, but if you consider two fighters of equal skill and ability to more or less the only factor in the size and strength. Smith is big enough to fight at 205 if he wanted to walk about 185 GSP. Silva is a fighter with greater range and better BJJ skills are underestimated. To remove GSP, but he would have a difficult time controlling it.

I am not saying that it would be impossible for the APS, the elimination of tedious, but Anderson is the favorite, and rightly so.

  3. The party may or may not happen. It is not carved in stone, which will play each other. First we hear that if GSP beats BJ, "maybe" get a chance at Anderson Silva. Well he beat BJ and try to be a fight between GSP and Thiago Alves if he wins, it can "get a chance to Anderson. Anderson is a fight against Thales Leites in April. So if this game even be happening, at least until late 2009 or in 2010.

Even then, as Frank said, Anderson Silva is a fight at middleweight in the size and weight, Light Heavy. GSP is a welterweight. Going up in weight class is usually not very wise to get the support of the GSP, is very doubtful. Anderson lose, weight, go to welterweight would be the spider 'Anderson 6'2ft' make Silva Silva LongLegs as Daddy "Anderson said."
It is therefore advisable, in the middle of a variable weight to be fair. GSP beneficiary of 185 walks and 170 denominations. Anderson Silva walks in the 200 and 185 denominations. Do as the biggest game.

AnywaAYS, if it happens, not to spend his brief tenure, things are not considered too good for the GSP, that once the person in this welterweight battle.

Edit: Silva wants to retire, his contract has yet to break about 6 fights left.

  4. It would be a very interesting fight that both the best pound for pound fighters in the UFC are. If Silva could Hed 170 shall be in 3 different weight classes. I think GSP would make it easier to require that 185 would be an advantage, Silva, I think GSP would be decisions as to where the fight will go ahead, because Anderson has a terrible defense and the withdrawal of GSP has Phenominal are on the best in the game low ATS.

  5. I do not think that Silva is in the APS compensated. I like both fighters but Silva is too good and too big. Penn is probably the most talented boxers in history, but weight gain made him a present. APS is facing the same challenge.

I think it would be a competitive fight, but I da Silva, the benefit of the doubt because of the weight class and his ability to attack the first class (even if the GSP Silva seconds).

  7. No

Anderson Silva is a middleweight, light heavyweight, to compete enough.

GSP is a welterweight, but he will not be successful as a middleweight, he would be too small.

    This struggle and never will.
