Fine needle aspiration of lymph node - question about results.? - cervical lymphadenopathy
My child has a persistent cervical lymphadenopathy with thyroid asymmetric. All blood tests normal, Thyroid scan normal. I'd zoom in on a FNA of lymph nodes, at my request. A report shows that mixed model cell. Occasional macrophages present in the body color. What does this mean?
The report also points out that there is no definitive evidence of malignancy. Flow said there was no evidence of monoclonal lymphoid population.
Thanks for any help on the above-mentioned report
